Welcome to YYC Noodle Festival — a unique celebration of noodles, culture, and community!
This isn’t just another restaurant festival. It’s all about showcasing the best of Asian cuisine and heritage while bringing people together to support important causes.
YYC Noodle Festival is co-organized by Hung's Noodle Factory, Roots Collective and Mach Media, who are committed to giving back to the community. This year, we're excited to partner with The Leftovers Foundation as our 2025 charity beneficiary.
The Leftovers Foundation works to prevent food waste by rescuing surplus food and redistributing it to those in need, reducing greenhouse gas emissions along the way.
Join us in celebrating noodles and making a positive impact!

How It Works
The YYC Noodle Festival is a city-wide culinary adventure that lasts from November 6–16. It's easy to take part:
1. Visit and Eat
During the 11 days of the festival, simply visit any of our contestant restaurants. Each restaurant features a unique, signature noodle dish created just for the event. There are no tickets or set menus—you pay the restaurant directly for the dish you try.
2. Rate the Noodles
After you try a dish, make your opinion count! Go to the YYC Noodle Festival website and rate the dish online. Your ratings determine the winners!
3. Support the Community
The festival is about more than just great food. A portion of the proceeds from every noodle dish sold goes directly to our charity beneficiary, helping to support their mission in Calgary.
4. Awards and Glory
At the end of the festival, awards are given out based on your customer ratings! Awards include:
- Best Overall Noodle (Highest Customer Rating)
- Most Creative Noodle
- Power Fundraiser (Most money raised for charity)
